Police have cordoned off part of the town centre in Cowes this afternoon (Monday) amid an ongoing incident.
Emergency services were called around 14:40 to The Cut off the High Street.
Officers remain on scene guarding an area outside public conveniences.
Pedestrians are being directed around the scene.
UPDATE @ 18:00 – Police have confirmed that the body of a missing man has been located.
