The Shanklin Cliff Lift remains out of action this afternoon (Saturday) after a fault developed, which engineers have been unable to resolve.
The link between the village and Esplanade was taken out of service yesterday after following a fault, which is said to be unrelated to recent works.
An engineer has visited the lift today but has been unable to resolve the situation meaning the lift will remain out of action until further notice.
