Emergency services are currently dealing with another road traffic collision this morning (Christmas Day) where it is said a vehicle has rolled over.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have been mobilised to the scene where an appliance from Freshwater in attendance.
Freshwater’s co-responder is also on the scene dealing with the casualties of the vehicle which has come to rest on its roof.
Friends of Freshwater Fire Station has said on Facebook, Santa will still be coming, just a little bit late, we’ll be leaving the fire station at 10.30.
Each year the fire station goes out on Christmas Morning, in the fire engine, dropping presents to all of the Children around Freshwater and Totland.
This incident follows an earlier incident at Apse Heath.
Gritters were out and about across the Isle of Wight last night with the IW Met Service also advising of the risk of black ice.
