UPDATED: Firefighters from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are dealing with a chimney fire in Wootton this evening (Thursday).
2 fire appliances, 1 from Newport and the other from East Cowes, were mobilised to the property on Church Road just after 17:15.
It is understood nobody has been injured as a result of the fire and that the fire is contained.
UPDATE @ 18:15 – Fire crews have now left the property.
