Firefighters from Newport have this evening (Saturday) attended a small chimney fire in Godshill.
One appliance from Newport Fire Station was called to the scene on Newport Road at around 18:30 after homeowners reported that their chimney had caught light.
Fortunately, the fire was out before fire crews arrived, however damping down took place to prevent any reigniting.
