Elsewhere, just 5 minutes away at Vecta House, for the 3rd year running residents enjoyed the homes annual car show. Residents eagerly awaited for the array of classic cars to arrive watching as they drove down the drive and took a proud place in the homes grounds. The owners of the nostalgic vehicles are members of the Vectis Historic Vehicle Club Ltd who have supported Vecta House in making the event a roaring success since the first event took place in 2022. Members of the club spent time with residents and visitors talking about the history of the vehicles with some residents taking the opportunity to get back the behind the wheel of their favourite car at the show. With live music everyone enjoyed a dance to some classic rock and roll music from the fantastic musician Paolo Grillo while enjoying refreshments laid on by the home with residents later spending time reminiscing about the cars they had previously owned . Tanya Everson the Lifestyle Leader at Vecta House said:
