A car on its roof has forced the closure of Merstone Lane near Blackwater this afternoon (Friday).
Emergency services were called to the scene between Blackwater Road and Bohemia Corner, near the junction with Chapel Lane, shortly before 13:45.
A dark blue car has come to rest upside down on a narrowing of the country road, completing blocking the carriageway.
It’s unclear if any other vehicles have been involved.
Police have closed Merstone Lane in both directions whilst recovery is arranged.
UPDATE @ 15:38 – It has been confirmed that the driver of the Suzuki Baleno has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It is thought that the road has now reopened.
