UPDATED: A car has rolled onto its roof on the main Newport to Yarmouth road this afternoon (Tuesday), prompting an emergency response.
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the apparent single-vehicle incident, which occurred shortly before 13:30.
Police and ambulance crews are on scene at Yarmouth Road – approximately a quarter of the way between Whitehouse Road and Shalfleet.
The road remains open.
UPDATE @ 14:14 – The man has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital following the crash an hour ago.
Recovery of the vehicle has been arranged.
