A Toyota Yaris has been severely damaged after crashing into a garden wall in Ryde this evening (Friday).
Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Swanmore Road at around 17:15 as a result of reports of a road traffic collision.
Unfortunately, the blue Toyota mounted the pavement and went head-on into the wall of a residential property.
Although the road was closed for a short period, emergency services have now left the scene and things have returned to normal.
A Peugeot 206 has also been recovered from the scene by Stag Lane Motors, but its involvement in the crash is unclear.
