The body of a woman was found at a property in Newport this morning (Sunday), Police have confirmed.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Police were called to an address on Worsley Road, off Hunnyhill, at 09:00.
Officers forced entry to the property and located a body.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the next of kin have been informed. They are being supported by specialist officers.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
Neighbours say they saw medics knocking on the door of the address last week.
