Strong winds hitting the Solent region have forced the suspension of Hovertravel’s service once again this morning (Wednesday).
The Ryde-Southsea service has been brought to a halt by the adverse conditions for the 2nd day running.
Hovers were unable to operate for the majority of yesterday, with a similar picture building again this morning.
An update is expected at 08:00 but there is no guarantee that services will resume at that time.
Tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service in the meantime.
UPDATE @ 08:54 – Services remain suspended with an update now expected at 10:00.
UPDATE @ 10:15 – Services have now resumed from Ryde.
