Medics from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance were scrambled to East Cowes this lunchtime (Wednesday) to assist the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service with an ongoing medical emergency in the town.
Flying medics were first scrambled from their Thruxton base at around 12:45, following a call from the Isle of Wight Ambulance who were dealing with an ongoing medical emergency.
Having made its way south, the yellow liveried helicopter circled the skies above the North Wight town before landing at the Vectis Road playing field.
Those on board made their way to the scene of the incident to tend to the casualty.
After around 40 minutes on the ground, medics returned to the helicopter and left the scene.
It is unclear if the casualty has been conveyed to hospital.
