Those crossing the Solent with Wightlink are facing delays of some 90 minutes this afternoon (Sunday) due to a mechanical breakdown on the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route.
Earlier on today the 12:00 sailing from Portsmouth was cancelled, as was the 13:00 from Fishbourne. Now, the 14:00 from Portsmouth and the 15:00 from Fishbourne have been pulled from the timetable.
Wightlink are advising customers that delays of 90 minutes are likely.
It comes just 2 days after a similar situation which also saw 90 minutes delays on a busy Friday afternoon.
