3 people from the Isle of Wight are being questioned by Police this evening (Saturday) in connection with a alleged stabbing in Southampton.
A 47-year-old man, a 36-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman – who all come from the Island – are being held in custody on suspicion of being involved with an incident on French Street.
Police were called to the scene, just a stones throw from the Red Funnel car ferry terminal, at just before 14:30.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a 47-year-old man has sustained stab wounds to his neck and arm, however his condition is not life threatening.
Investigations continue.
