Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenage girl was grabbed on the arm by a stranger in Ryde yesterday (Tuesday).
The incident took place at around 21:00 at the bus stop for Tesco Extra Ryde, at Westridge.
Thankfully, the girl was able to shake the man off before entering the Tesco store for safety.
A man in his 20s, who had been the passenger of a vehicle – described as silver/grey in colour with blue-tinted lights and 4 doors – is being sought in connection with the incident. He is described as being white, aged in his 20s, with brown eyes, black hair, and wearing a jumper.
Officers are in the area making enquiries but are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this vehicle in the area at this time. Pretty distinguishable description of car. Someone knows who this is. Hopefully the driver will want to eliminate himself from any connection with the event.
If blue lights lit on public road, the car will not be insured… crush it !! Same goes for those that ‘ modify’ the exhaust… if not told their insurance company, the vehicle may not be insured..
