Ms Bradshaw, who was in a Kia Sedona that was overtaking cyclists taking part in the Isle of Wight Randonnee, ‘sustained an injury’. No other vehicles were involved and there was no collision with any cyclists or objects.

Officers investigating the incident want to trace a woman who was driving a dark coloured car who stopped to offer first aid before the arrival of paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service. Officers are also keen to speak to any cyclists in the area who may have also seen what happened.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Peni Houghton or PS Shaun Hopkins from the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting Operation Plug.
