Crew aboard the Wightlink vehicle ferry rescued a RIB with 2 passengers in the Solent yesterday evening (Sunday).
It was at around 17:45 that the alarm was first raised following concerns for a RIB.
Staff aboard Wightlink’s flagship boat quickly launched a rescue boat to assist the distressed vessel.
The rescue boat then towed the RIB into shore before it was hoisted back upon Victoria of Wight at around 18:30.
