Residents at Orchard House care home had a great time exploring the Wight Aviation Museum last week.
The care home would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Museum volunteers for their amazing support and help throughout the visit. Without them, this trip would not have been possible.
The residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learning about the history of aviation in the Isle of Wight. The Museum’s collection of aircraft, engines, and artefacts from the Island’s aviation history was truly impressive and engaging.
They want to give a special shout out to Colin, who was their amazing guide throughout the visit. His knowledge, enthusiasm and engaging style made the experience even more enjoyable for everyone. The residents had a great time interacting with Colin, asking questions and learning more about the exhibits.
They would like to thank everyone at Wight Aviation Museum for their hospitality and for making the visit such a memorable one. They look forward to visiting again in the future and would highly recommend this museum to anyone looking for a great day out.
