Ryde Carnival has announced that a wheelchair-accessible viewing platform will be available at Eastern Gardens again this year for the Main Carnival and the Illuminated Carnival. Ryde Carnival is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and the introduction of the accessible viewing platform emphasises this commitment. This platform is one of our initiatives to ensure that everyone can participate and enjoy the Carnivals, irrespective of mobility challenges. Booking is essential. Carnival details: Main Carnival – Thursday 29th August – Procession moves off at 18:30 Illuminated Carnival – Saturday 31st August – Procession moves off at 20:30 Route – Esplanade, Dover Street, Park Road, Star Street, High Street, Union Street, Esplanade (south side). Disperse from George Street junction. To secure your space on the accessible viewing platform and to make arrangements for accessible parking, kindly send an email to [email protected]. Our dedicated team is eager to assist you and provide any necessary information to ensure your carnival experience is unforgettable. For those attending the Main Carnival on 29th August: You are urged to be in place by 18:15 to secure your spot for the vibrant Main Carnival celebrations. For those attending the Illuminated Carnival on Saturday 31st August: For the Illuminated Carnival, be in place by 20:15 to immerse yourself in the breath-taking display of illuminated floats and performances.
