An issue with Red Eagle’s voith unit has resulted in the cancellation of 2 ferry crossings on Red Funnel’s East Cowes – Southampton route this afternoon (Tuesday).
Voith unit issues have forced the cancellation of the the 14:00 from Southampton and the 15:30 from East Cowes.
Red Funnel has apologised for the convenience caused.
It is unclear as to whether the fix will be a quick one and, if necessary, further sailings will need to be pulled.
UPDATE @ 15:15 – The 15:30 from East Cowes and the 17:00 from Southampton have also been cancelled.
