Voice acting has led to a national nomination at the industry’s leading awards for an Isle of Wight woman.
Islander Emma Topping has worked in the broadcasting and communications sectors for over 2 decades but took the opportunity to set up her own voiceover business towards the end of the
COVID pandemic.
Since launching in December 2021, Emma has voiced many commercials for TV and radio along with corporate video narration for global clients including Netflix, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, FedEx and more.
The ‘One Voice’ award nomination recognises her narration for e-learning courses for national company Navitas Safety.
Emma said:
“It’s been such a whirlwind 1st year in business and I’ve been hugely fortunate to work with some of the biggest global companies, but also to work with some really great small
UK businesses, recording their on-hold phone messages and voice overs for website videos.”“The award nomination has really topped off an incredible year, and I’m so thankful just to be named alongside some top voiceover talent – whether I’m lucky enough to win, or not.”
The One Voice Awards ceremony will be held on 13th May in London.
