Both Harwoods Division 1 and 2 see vital games in the title race as the end of the season draws near.
In Division 1, West Wight and W&B share top spot with 37 points apiece. West Wight currently edge last season’s champions on goal difference while the Sandy Lane side have a game in hand on the current league leaders.
Today (Saturday), West Wight face 6th-placed Bembridge & Vectis at home while Whitecroft & Barton welcome 8th-placed Northwood St Johns to Sandy Lane.
The 2 top teams clash in the semi final of the Memorial Cup on Tuesday evening (14th April) at Camp Road.

The big game in Division 2 sees the top 2 sides – Sandown & Lake and Binstead & COB – meet in the semi final of the Junior A cup. The winners will meet East Cowes Sports Reserves in the final.
Also in Division 2, 3rd-placed ECS take on 4th placed Newport Reserves at GKN Sports Ground.
In the Wessex League…
Vics and the Yachtsmen are still battling for the honour of being the Isle of Wight’s highest ranked team in the league pyramid.
Cowes Sports have pulled 3 points clear of East Cowes Victoria after beating Millbrook midweek, while the Beatrice Avenue Boys were beaten at Hamworthy Rec.
The Yachtsmen – who currently occupy 13th spot in the Wessex Premier – have a home tie against 11th-placed Sherborne, while 14th-placed Vics face a difficult journey to North Hampshire to play 6th-placed Andover New Street.
In Wessex Division 1, 7th-placed Newport travel to Berkshire to play 16th-placed Aldermaston. Port are now 8 points behind 5th-placed Yateley United with 5 games of their season remaining after losing to leaders Fleetlands on Thursday.
Sadly, the chances of all 3 Isle of Wight sides competing with each other in the Wessex Premier appear increasingly remote.
