TRITONE SINGERS RAISE ALMOST £1,000 FOR MOUNTBATTEN AT CHRISTMAS CONCERT

The Tritone Singers would like to thank those who attended their Christmas concert which raised almost £1,000 for Mountbatten. The next performance on March 23rd features varied choral works from the 16th to the 20th centuries. Included in the programme is Byrd’s Mass for Four Voices dating from 1592. Frank Bridge’s Easter Hymn dates from 1912 while Tippett’s Spirituals from A Child of Our Time was written in 1939-1941. The choir will also perform a piece by Ronald Corp, Justorum Animae, specially composed for a Requiem Mass for Queen Elizabeth II held in September 2022. The concert title is taken from a work written by the musical director Richard Wilkins.A cornucopia of choral variety through the ages!
