Sunday saw the first production by Trinity Youth Theatre since their return in January. With an audience of over 50, the clubroom downstairs was overflowing for the musical ‘Robyn Hood’, written by Luke Mulhern, Trinity Youth’s Musical Director. Tracy and Aimee-Rose Howard, Lizzie Giakoumelos and Thomas Young also helped devise the play. The children, aged from 7 to 15, were enthusiastic and well-rehearsed. They sparkled, were in tune and word-perfect. The story, themed on Robin Hood, and good over evil was attacked with gusto! Several of the children will be appearing in June’s musical – ‘The Likes of Us’. Anyone interested in joining the Youth Theatre can email [email protected].
