UPDATED: Motorists are facing delays on Brading Down Road this afternoon (Sunday) following a road traffic collision.
The main through road from Mersley Down to Brading has been brought to a ‘standstill’ according to reports from motorists in the area.
The delays are thought to possibly be related to the recovery of a Ford Focus that came to rest in a field after leaving the carriageway at around 19:00 last night.
UPDATE – The incident has since been cleared.
