UPDATED: Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision on Binstead Road near the Fleming Arms pub this afternoon (Friday), which is causing traffic delays in the area.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Police are at the scene on the outskirts of Ryde following the 3-vehicle crash.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
UPDATE @ 16:12 – No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the collision, which has involved a blue Nissan and a Red Kia. An Isle of Wight Ambulance Service Skoda Scout rapid response vehicle has also been involved in the incident and has sustained front-end damage.
Traffic is flowing but heavy in both directions.
UPDATE @ 18:00 – The vehicles involved have now been recovered and the incident cleared.
