Food hygiene inspectors on the Isle of Wight have been busy dishing out the ratings, but some establishments are failing to achieve the high standards expected…

Environmental health officers have conducted visits to a range of Island eateries and establishments to see how up-to-scratch their services are.

Places are inspected, and rated, based on their hygienic food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and the management of food safety. The higher the score, the lower the rating.
