TEENS GEAR UP TO CELEBRATE RELEASE OF 5 DEGREES NORTH’S DEBUT SINGLE

5 Degrees North – a local alternative 3-piece band – are set to release their debut single ‘Now I Know’ on 31st January. The 16-year-old musicians have been writing and performing together for just over a year. Members include Will Morrison on guitar and vocals, Michael Fuller on Bass and backing vocals, and Louis (Linguini) Marshall on drums. The band have already played live at several venues and festivals including Strings, The Attic Southampton, Warrior Festival and RhythmTree Festival. 

The teenagers have part-time jobs around college and have funded a professional photographer, the recording of the song, and the artwork for the single, which was written by the members themselves.

The 3-piece outfit will celebrate the release of ‘Now I Know’ with a launch party at Strings in Newport on 31st January – the same day as the single’s release – in association with Platform One, who facilitated the recording of the song at their studios. 2 other local bands will be playing in support at the launch party: Anatomy and Obscure Colours. Tickets for the event are priced at just £2. Now I Know will be available across all streaming services.
