Firefighters from Newport have helped free a teenager trapped inside the multi-storey car park in Newport.
At just before 15:05, 2 appliances from Newport were mobilised to Pyle Street to provide assistance to the teen.
Wholetime and retained crews worked together to release the casualty, who is said to have been ‘locked in’.
Pyle Street was blocked for a time but has since been re-opened.
Locked-in exactly where in the multi-story….in the afternoon ??

I didn’t realise we had a ‘multistorey car park’ on the island.
It’s above what was the Co op store can’t see how he got locked in as it open for parking
Perhaps the teenager got lost looking for the post office. Easy mistake.
Maybe he got so dizzy and disoriented from racing around and around the carpark, trying to make his little car sound like a big car, that he struggled to find exit
Police could have just call the key holder, why the fire service?
