Wightlink, Red Funnel and Hovertravel services could face disruption tomorrow (Sunday) as dense fog is forecast to affect visibility across the Isle of Wight.
A weather advisory issued by local forecaster IW Met Service warns that visibility could fall below 100 metres in some areas, potentially leading to delays and cancellations to cross-Solent travel.
The advisory comes into force at 01:00 tomorrow and remains in place until 10:00, with areas of dense fog expected to develop towards dawn.
Motorists are also being advised to take extra care, as patchy fog could create rapidly changing driving conditions.
Although roads may remain clear on higher ground, visibility could deteriorate significantly within seconds when descending into foggy dips.
Drivers are being urged to allow extra time for morning journeys and drive with caution.
