Investigations into the activities of a teenage boy from the Isle of Wight, who was arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences last July, are continuing. Detectives and other specialist officers from Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE), supported by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, descended on the West Wight and the Newport areas on 26th July 2023, as first reported by Island Echo. A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of dissemination of terrorist publications under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006 and collection of information under Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000. He was quizzed by Counter Terrorism teams and bailed until October, which was then further extended until January. At the start of this year, the boy’s bail was extended again until April. It has been confirmed to Island Echo that the teenager remains on bail as investigations and evidence gathering continue.

He’s been bailed……. what the actual fuck. String the little c##t up by it’s feet and leave it swinging.
Execution for treasonable offences are still legal, and what could be worse, trying to blow up innocent people who may even share the same views (unlikely though) as this head case.
Shame we have to pander to such trash. Can’t help wondering if the world needs another war to sort out the thinking and reasoning which is so distorted now.
Awful it may have to come to that to end this soft, weak, wet treatment of low life, mental and useless in our society who just ruin life for nice normal people.
Is this a different youth from the one recently jailed for festival plot ??
How come Mr Seely has not written to his friend Mr Dimly, the Home Secretary, to ask why this is dragging on? Perhaps there are no votes in it?
I hope the police are gathering evidence and I belive the reason they are prolonging his bail is so the trial they can say he is a adult and he will go to big boy prison with all the other terrorists to get more indoctrination to think more of the same stuff shame that some bad apples give the rest of the youth a bad name SHAME!!! Real shame!
He must be stupid. How can any sane person think that violently destroying innocent people will solve anything. Does this mentality (world wide) actually enjoy hurting other’s?
I don’t really know the full story so not entitled to comment on what he has or hasn’t done. Except a sixteen year old will probably get a few months detention or sent home with a note for his parents. That’s the way things seem to happen now.
