A Fun Dog Show will be held at The Towers in Yarmouth tomorrow (24th August) to raise funds for Isle of Wight charity Ability Dogs 4 Young People, with the private gardens being opened exclusively for the occasion.
The afternoon event will give visitors the chance to enjoy the rarely-seen gardens and sea views while supporting the charity’s vital work.
The highlight of the day will be the Fun Dog Show, with a variety of light-hearted classes open to all. Categories include Fabulous Female and Marvellous Male, as well as waggiest tail and best trick. Registration opens from 12:00pm, with judging beginning at 14:00pm.
Alongside the competition, there will be live music, refreshments and stalls including Happy Hounds Artisan Bakery, plus a stand run by Ability Dogs 4 Young People.
Visitors are welcome to bring picnic blankets to relax in the grounds.
Every penny raised will go directly towards training and supporting Ability Dogs. The charity helps people living with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, as well as those with autism, epilepsy, anxiety and young people facing challenges such as self-harm. Ability Dogs bring reassurance, comfort and security to their recipients, offering vital support in times of distress.
Everyone is welcome – dogs, families and friends – to what promises to be a special afternoon at The Towers.
