Bellissima and Sugar and Spice Lingerie have staged a fashion show raising £1,700 for local theatre charity, First Act.
First Act, a charity that provides theatre performance workshops for adults with additional needs had reason to be extra cheerful recently. Members were presented with a cheque for over £1700 by Tina Lettington of Bellissima and Sheila Wilson of Sugar and Spice Lingerie.
The money was raised by the 2 shops holding a charity fashion show at The Royal Esplanade Hotel organised by the 2 sartorial entrepreneurs.
Guests were treated to entertainment by Short and Sweet Duo and a vocal performance by First Act member Sarah. 10 friends from both shops modelled over 120 outfits of swimwear, lingerie, nightwear and clothing for all occasions, with the evening culminating with a raffle organised by Lottie Laidler of First Act and member Rachel.
Lottie Laidler of First Act said:
“We had a lovely evening and the money raised will be used towards costumes and the production of our winter show at Shanklin Theatre.”
