A man has been arrested on suspicion of a stalking offence after police descended on a residential address in Shanklin this afternoon (Thursday).
Several units from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary attended a domestic property off Victoria Avenue early this afternoon, where they made the arrest, which was connected to a previous domestic-related incident.
A 41-year-old man from Shanklin was taken into police custody after he was located on Sibden Mews.
A spokesperson for the force has confirmed the man remains in police custody at this time.
