St Mary’s Vaccination Hub in Newport is getting ready to open its doors to the public as the COVID-19 Spring vaccination programme gets underway. As reported by Island Echo earlier this week, residents aged 75 years and older, residents in care homes and young people aged 6 months and over with severe immunosuppression will be offered a dose of COVID-19 vaccine this Spring. There are several ways to get a spring vaccination. Many people will be invited directly via their GP practice. But if you are eligible, you don’t need to wait to be invited, you can book using the National Booking System, by calling 119, or using the NHS App, until 30th June. St Mary’s Vaccination Hub will offer a walk-in service from Monday (22nd April), however, booking an appointment using the National Booking Service is advised to help keep waiting times down. Sue Lightfoot, Clinical Lead, Hospital Vaccination Centre, says:
“If you’re at increased risk of illness from COVID-19, getting a vaccination gives you good protection and helps to reduce your risk of getting seriously ill and needing hospital care or much worse. “The vaccine also reduces your risk of catching and spreading the virus and protects against the different strains of COVID that are circulating in our communities. Viruses are changing all the time and our protection fades over time, so these vaccinations are really important for people with severe immunosuppression. “We’re looking forward to welcoming our Island community back to the Vaccination Hub at St Mary’s this spring as well as the roving clinics that we will be running at various community venues around the Island in June.”
From 22nd April until 30th May, the Hub will be open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 07:45 to 17:45 (closed on Bank Holidays). From 1st June until 27th June, the Hub will be open on Tuesday and Thursday, 07:45 to 13:45. If you’re not sure if you have a condition that means you’re eligible for the vaccination, or you need help with booking an appointment, the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight COVID Vaccination Helpline team will be able to help via 0300 561 0018.

Having watched many videos by both Dr John Campbell and Andrew Bridgen MP, my impression is that they are both engaged on a quest for the truth. Please explain in detail what you believe they got wrong.
They tell lies and the list of lies is long. For example:

I remember that episode it was very sinister.
Dr. Campbell always owns up when he makes a mistake. All of the assertions Andrew Bridgen has made in parliament are recorded in Hansard allowing for future analysis regarding their veracity.
Dr. Campbell attracts some very interesting and well qualified guests to his channel who provide interesting claims such as the existing and cheap mumps vaccination appearing to provide protection against covid19.

Incorrect. A much higher incidence of cardiac problems is found in those who contracted COVID-19 compared with those who were inoculated.
Ask around and you find nearly everyone knows someone who was found dead in bed within a year of taking the jab. But they do not know anyone who was found dead in bed in the 5 years before the jabs came out. That is my experience at least qnd I asked a lot of people.

Studies based on very large sample sizes conducted throughout the world are all showing that having COVID-19 is associated with a much higher risk of cardiac problems compared with those who were inoculated. Vaccination is not associated with a higher risk of death by any causes. Also don’t forget the millions who are still suffering with long COVID. Vaccinations saved millions of lives.
