Staff from St Georges School in Newport are to undertake a sponsored walk in order to raise funds for a new minibus.
On Saturday 29th April, staff will be walking 27 miles as a group across the Island.
Over £1,700 has already been raised with the group aiming to hit a total of £2,000 – or more!
St Georges is a special secondary school for students with a range of complex additional needs.
A spokesperson from St Georges has said:
“Our wonderful students would hugely appreciate any amount you can donate. Thank you for taking the time to read”

It’s great to see teachers getting up and doing something positive for their students instead of going on a jolly to London to protest and make children stay at home, or roam the streets, after missing so much over the past few years. Well done to these teachers,
