St Catherine’s School held their annual Summer Fair on Friday 30th June and even though the weather wasn’t onside, they had amazing support!
Staff and students welcomed everyone for an action-packed afternoon and even though the weather wasn’t onside with rain falling, this didn’t dampen spirits.
The fair continued and there was an amazing turn out of support from the public.
Tanya Smith, Fundraising and Marketing Assistant, said:
“Thank you to everyone who came and supported the fair, the rain didn’t dampen our spirits. We had an amazing turn out of support and a great day was had by all! Our students all ran their own stalls and supported in making money for the school, from cakes to the good old fashioned stocks everyone left with a smile on their face.”
“The event raised over £2,000 which will help the school and 6th form that supports students with speech, language and communications needs to support them to achieve more than they ever thought possible.”
