Offshore racing made a high-octane return to the Solent on Sunday (24th August), with powerboats tearing away from Cowes for the iconic Cowes-Torquay-Cowes and Cowes-Poole-Cowes races.
Teams took to the water with boats reaching speeds of over 100mph as they powered along the South Coast in one of the most anticipated events of the powerboating calendar.
Spectators lined the shore on both sides of the Solent to witness the fast-paced action, which included dramatic offshore turns, a Torquay pit stop, and the high-speed sprint back to Cowes.
