Specialist mainland Police officers were drafted in to assist local colleagues with an incident in Sandown yesterday lunchtime (Wednesday).
At around midday, a number of Police units arrived at an address on Fitzroy Street following concerns for an individual inside.
Hampshire Constabulary’s Marine Unit utilised a RIB to transport officers with public order and method of entry skills across the Solent to execute an emergency warrant.
The incident, which has been described as multi-agency, was not led by Police. It’s been confirmed that the force were assisting local health services.
1 male was led away from the scene and into an awaiting ambulance.
