VIDEO: An animation bringing to life Southern Water’s plans for the next five years has been published.
Southern Water engaged more than 30,000 customers to put the plan together and make sure our customers come first.
Three billion pounds will be invested between 2015 and 2020 to deliver better water and wastewater services to more than 4.6 million customers across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. That’s £1,500 per household and business in the region.
The plan highlights 26 promises about what will be achieved, including:
• Responsive customer service
• A constant supply of high-quality drinking water
• Removing wastewater effectively
• Looking after the environment
• Better information and advice
• Affordable bills
Matthew Wright, Southern Water’s Chief Executive, said:
“We are confident this is the right plan for our customers and the promises outlined in the animation have been shaped by them through our most extensive engagement programme ever.
“We have worked hard to listen our customer feedback and the plan sets out how we intend to deliver improved services, cater for a growing population in our region, safeguard the environment and make sure everyone can afford their bills.”
Ofwat, the water industry regulator, has now made its final determination on Southern Water’s Business Plan. Visit www.southernwater.co.uk/haveyoursay to watch the animation and read or download Southern Water’s new Business Plan for 2015 to 2020.
