4 residents of Solent Grange Nursing Home recently took to the bowling alley for a memorable day out.
Accompanied by Leah Wherry, the lifestyles lead at Solent Grange, along with the activities team, 4 of their residents went bowling last Friday (19th May) and for 2 of them – aged 90 and 94 – it was a belated 1st introduction to the sport.
Leah said:
“The residents had such a brilliant time, the LA bowl team were so accommodating and helpful – a big thank you from all of us here at Solent Grange Nursing Home, we look forward to coming back again.”
Gladys, aged 90, said:
“I got a strike and that’s my first time! When can we go again?! I am so lucky to be here at Solent Grange – we are always doing something and getting well looked after.”
