Emergency services are on scene at a crash on Ward Avenue in Cowes this afternoon (Wednesday).
Fire crews from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have been mobilised to the incident, which has involved just 1 vehicle.
Island Echo is told that the car is on its side near the junction with Crossfield Avenue.
Paramedic resources from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are also on scene, alongside Police, having been called at just before 15:50.
The road has been closed in both directions whilst emergency teams tend to those injured.
UPDATE @ 16:25 – 1 female has been freed from the vehicle and transferred into the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Emergency crews are now dealing with a more serious road traffic collision at Blackwater.
