The trial against well-known solicitor and former school governor Stuart Nuttall, who has denied committing numerous child sex offences, has been pushed back until December.
The 54-year-old commercial lawyer, of Stonelands Park in Ryde, who previously served as a governor of Ryde Academy and as a director of the IW Youth Trust, pleaded not guilty to a total of 12 charges back in 2024.

- 1x Offender 18 or over attempt to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to watch/look at an image of sexual activity

Despite having a trial listed to begin at Portsmouth Crown Court earlier this week (Monday 23rd March), Nuttall’s case was instead listed at the Isle of Wight Crown Court for a pre-trial review on the same day.
Following that hearing, it has now been confirmed that the trial has been pushed back until the 14th December 2026 at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
The reason for this lengthy adjournment is unknown.

No need for a trial, the prosecution knows what he done,so he should arrested asap & jailed permanently, till he dies in prison..
