SEX ATTACKER FOUND DEAD IN CELL AT HMP ISLE OF WIGHT

25-year-old Luke Prato, a dangerous and unbalanced sex offender who tried to drag a woman into a park in Exeter, has been found dead inside his prison cell at HMP Isle of Wight.

HM Prison Service has confirmed the death of the serving inmate, who was jailed for a period of 4 years in March 2020. He was found guilty of sexual assault on the terrified victim, as well as assaulting causing actual bodily harm to the victim’s male friend

Prato was found dead inside his cell by prison officers on Saturday.

It’s thought that the 25-year-old was about to be transferred to Broadmoor Secure Hospital due to his mental health state. Prato had been diagnosed with an anti-social personality disorder and it was known that as a child he discovered his own mother hanged at the family home, according to DevonLive.

A prison service spokesperson has said:

“HMP Isle of Wight prisoner Luke Prato died on November 27.

“The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman has been informed.”

I just feel sorry for the hard working prison staff that found him, as I am sure they would have tried to save him upon finding him, after all a life is a life, not a great image to have upon going home at the end of a shift.!

from devon live.. for the hand wringing do gooders on this message board..

Mr Prato was described as ‘every young woman’s worst nightmare’ at Exeter Crown Court

The 25-year-old, who had a history of random acts of violence against strangers, was jailed for four years in March 2020, with a two year extended licence and was classified as a dangerous offender.

The court heard Mr Prato refused all psychiatric help despite being diagnosed with an anti-social personality disorder.

Although you may not care about his death, he would have had a family who are probably devastated right now. Please be considerate with your comments and try to keep them in mind

When you are a bit older, look back on this post and see how it makes you feel. This guy was the scum of the earth and deserved to be locked away for a long time – possibly forever – but rejoicing in his death, anyone’s death, is totally barbaric.
