Guys & Dolls has been presented with a traditional trophy and framed certificate recognising their success in Sandown’s seasonal shop window competition. Sandown Town Mayor Alex Lightfoot, along with fellow town councillors, recently handed the local hair salon their 2023 award. The annual competition is organised with the help of Sandown Community Association (SCA). Mayor Councillor Alex Lightfoot said:
“It was really good to see so many shops and businesses take part this year, and with the designs by local schoolchildren at the library, this has helped in the build-up to this Saturday’s fun day. “This competition recognises the value of the High Street to the town, and everyone’s efforts do make a difference during this festive time – my thanks to everyone for contributing to the many events in the Town at this time of year”.
