Sea View Yacht Club has been named the winner of the RYA (Royal Yacht Association) 2025 ‘Together on Water’ award.
This award is to recognise affiliate clubs who are actively working towards a connected, inspired, and inclusive boating community.
The RYA Awards Ceremony on Saturday 22nd February was attended by Fiona Conway-Hughes (Commodore) together with James Mitchell (Rear Commodore Sailing), James Crofts (Club Secretary) and Jon Curtis (Director of Sailing).
The award presented by Professor Sir Michael Arthur, Chair, RYA Board, who had been impressed by the width and breadth Seaview Yacht Club’s activities on and off the water.
Fiona Conway-Hughes said:
“I am delighted to share the news that Sea View Yacht Club is the winner of the RYA 2025 Award Together on Water.
“We were all very pleased that we had been shortlisted as finalists for this very prestigious award and over the moon when the winner was announced.
“This is a tremendous recognition of all the people who work so hard to make SVYC the club that we all know and love. Thank you to everyone who made this happen.
“Hopefully, this will turn all our thoughts to the coming season and whet our appetites to get out on the water racing, training, and generally having fun on the water.”

Well done Seaview Yacht Club.
