Daniel Rogers from Lake has completed a 3-year apprenticeship at Ryde-based IOW Group, with an additional 3 apprentices well on their way to gaining higher education qualifications.
Over the years, IOW Group has established a year-on-year intake of enthusiastic individuals who study towards their engineering qualification, whilst gaining practical hands-on experience and support from knowledgeable colleagues.
Now a qualified CNC Machinist, Daniel is an integral member of the production team who makes precision parts for world-leading centrifugal filtration systems which are distributed to customers all over the globe.
Daniel says:
“I’ve had great support from my team members here at IOW Group. I’ve been able to put theory into practice and gain valuable hands-on experience which adds to my professional career progression. I’m delighted to have finished my apprenticeship and land a full-time role within the Production Team.”
Brett Nicholls, Managing Director at IOW Group says:
“We’re proud to be able to offer local, young talent opportunities within their field of interest, supporting apprentices with their education, but also providing valuable hands-on experience within mechanical manufacturing. Our apprentices have the scope to work with large-scale machinery, manufacturing products and solutions that are delivered to customers around the globe.”
