Wightlink is operating a revised timetable on its Fishbourne-Portsmouth car ferry service over the Easter weekend due to a mechanical breakdown with the ageing St Faith ferry.
The cross-Solent operator says that whilst St Faith is out of service and teams work hard to resolve the undisclosed issue, there will be disruption on the Pompey route.
Those travelling to and from the Isle of Wight can expect disruption throughout today and across the Bank Holiday weekend, with the revised timetable in force until Sunday 17th April.
A full list of cancelled sailings hasn’t been published, but customers booked to travel on St Faith are being contacted in date order and offered alternative sailing times. Cancellations can also be seen at https://www.wightlink.co.uk/plan-your-journey/service-status.
Wightlink apologises for any changes to your travel plans and thank customers for their patience.
