Old Charlton House’s Christmas party was made extra special after a 4-legged friend made a surprise visit.
The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary visited the residents in the garden from their stables. A lovely Christmassy atmosphere was created by a snow machine.
Father Christmas also made an appearance at the Cowes-based residential home too.
Residents missed out on seeing relatives and friends due to the pandemic over the past couple of years so this year so those at the care home wanted them to enjoy some special memories together.
Clare Williams, who recently took over as manager of the home, worked with the new Activities Coordinator, Cheynenne Wyatt, to make this Christmas one the residents would not forget.
Old Charlton House wishes all the residents, their family and friends and all the staff a very merry Christmas.
