Orchard House Care Home celebrated Firefighters day (4th May) by hosting firefighters from Newport and presenting them with a cake as a token of appreciation for their tireless work here on the Isle of Wight.
Firefighters are the unsung heroes of our communities, responding to emergencies of all kinds and putting their lives on the line to protect us.
A spokesperson from Orchard House has said:
“At Orchard House Care Home, we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Newport firefighters for their service to our community. We admire their courage, professionalism, and tireless work ethic. Without their commitment and sacrifice, our community would not be as safe and secure as it is today.
“On behalf of the entire Orchard House Care Home team, we want to say thank you to the Newport firefighters for all that they do. We wish them a happy Firefighters’ Day and continued success in their important work.”
